These problems were caused by the fact that in my setup the 3.5" 2.88MB (default on DECpc) drivers were selected. (Stupid if you know this!) But now I am running with the 3.5" 1.44MB drivers and still can't read 3.5" 720kb floppies. I get hard errors. Does that mean that mtools only supports the disk drives you have selected at boot time? --Piet
