I'm about ready to spend money on another new toy, this time a CD-ROM drive.
I've done some preliminary research and the Philips LMS-CM206 CD-ROM drive
appears to be a good value (~$200.00, double-speed) but unfortunately,
it has a proprietary AT-BUS card. According to the Philips computer bulletin
board there's a company called Free S/W Associates(?) which has a Unix device
driver available for it. Their phone number is 011-49-69-634588 which I
believe is in Germany. Does anyone know anything about them?
Do they have an Internet address and if so could someone please give it to me?
Better yet, maybe they'll see this message and reply to me directly 8^)!
As always, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

P.S. The reason I posted to the groups above is that the CD-ROM will be
running on both Free-BSD and UnixWare. If it's only available on
one O.S. platform and I can get the sources, I would be willing to
do some driver hacking to get it ported to the other platform.
