DOS with ASPI has problems, too. The other way around is of no problem. QIC-120 works correctly. Another tape problem: As you might know QIC-24 (60 MB) tape cartridges can only be read on a 500 MB QIC streamer, you cannot write DC600A cartridges in the 60 MB format. But what you usually can is erase the DC600A and then writing data in the QIC-120 format and get 120 MB. Now it comes: the mt command refuses to erase DC600A (60 MB) cartridges. I had to boot MSDOG and use the ASPI tool crctrl to do it. :-( Robert
