However, using the card at this resolution with a dot clock of 96 MHz leads to a lot of pixel dropouts in certain colours. I changed to the same resolution at 80MHz which diminished the pixel dropout problem, but it didn't cure it completely. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem or knew that what I am trying to do is beyond the capability of the card. Could this be related to the caveat in the manual page regarding running RAMDACs at 80MHz and beyond? The card is ISA and has 1MB of RAM and uses a S3 911 chip. The monitor is a SONY CPD 1704S. Please e-mail me if you have any ideas regarding this problem and if there is interest I will summarize to the net. Thanks, Tom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Crummey, EMAIL: tom@sees.bangor.ac.uk | /\ University of Wales, Bangor, | / \/\ School of Electronic Engineering Science, | /\/ \ \ Dean Street, Bangor, TEL: +44 (0)248 382806 | / ======\=\ Gwynedd, LL57 1UT, U.K. FAX: +44 (0)248 361429 | B A N G O R -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
