Okay, I know I can compile a new kernel with BSD. But what happens if BSD won't boot on your machine? I assume before 386BSD and Linux was up and running, some work must have been done under DOS. There must be some way it can be done. I tried the bootables on agate, but no luck. Does anyone have a bootable, which writes to the screen at every point, from the very start, to the very end? When I am forced to do a hard reset, my CMOS values are all scrambled. Whatever ideas you have would be appreciated. Thanks. Irwin Gibson perv@flash.emf.mcgill.ca perv@emf.lan.mcgill.ca
