Message-ID: <jmonroyCKwnsq.5vI@netcom.com> Organization: NETCOM On-line Communication Services (408 241-9760 guest) Date: Tue, 8 Feb 1994 12:24:26 GMT Lines: 32 At the request of persons to which communication is a part of life, the program "yapboot" (herein transfered in binary format as yapboo10.zip.b) is available on freebsd.cdrom.com: ~ftp/incoming. The program is compressed with the MSDOS compression program "pkzip". This method may not be compatible with "gzip". The program althought at this point in time, not successful with 386bsd 0.1 (w/pk) is a very useful program. An even thought the coding style is a bit odd it is the method and use of the user interface that makes it useful, if not superior to other version of fdisk (namely MS/PC-DOS). I am not affiliated with the person that wrote YAPBOOT, nor am I aware that I have ever communicated with this person (for all I know he may not like my "net-comments"). None the less, I see his overall method of discussion and uses of the YAPBOOT as a communication tool as useful. **peanuts grow underground. -- Jesus Monroy Jr jmonroy@netcom.com Zebra Research /386BSD/device-drivers /fd /qic /clock /documentation ___________________________________________________________________________
