Indeed, it was.  In fact, just last week I added "BSD" and "Linux" to
the universe of standard keywords attached to comp.newprod messages.
If you want to scan through this newsgroup and focus upon the 386BSD
stuff and skip Sun and NeXT postings, a Killfile on the Keywords header
makes this extra easy.

If you know of companies that are producing stuff for the (``emerging'')
BSD and Linux marketplace, by all means point them towards comp.newprod.

with a "Subject: send newprod" header.  I *strongly* urge all folks
considering a comp.newprod announcement to read these guidelines
*before* submitting their message.
