As soon as I press a key to continue the booter reports on my hardware config. The scsi card is never found even if I tell the CMOS that my IDE drive is not installed. And what seems odd to me is that the booter reports that the IDE drive is installed when I tell the CMOS that it is not. Anyway, after the booter reports on the hardware the computer locks up before the file system floppy is even accessed. I do admit that I didn't specify the UNIX partition as type 0xa5.... How does one do that? Fdisk doesn't seem to be able to do that. Do you have to use something like Norton Disk Doctor??
