Try tcsh or bash. tcsh is available from freebsd.cdrom.com:pub/FreeBSD/packages (which, BTW, is where you can find most of the FreeBSD goodies), and bash from prep.ai.mit.edu:pub/gnu compiled just fine. I personally prefer bash, but if you are a csh user, tcsh may be easier to get used to since it has almost everything from csh. Satoshi
