This is likely a basic question so please bear with--this is the first
time I have been through this. We have just completed the
installation procedure of NetBSD-0.9 on a 25 mhz 386, 8 megs or ram
and a 130 meg ide drive. The installation went quite smoothly. After
running configure we followed the next instructions and typed reboot
and sat back and watched. The machine went through its automatic
reboot and came up with the login prompt. Now the problems: from this
prompt we get an error message back saying no such file or directory
from anything we feed it. Of course there are no accounts or much of
anything else defined on this thing yet. I have sufficient
information available to do a lot of the setrting up but how do we get
in to perform these tasks. The person I queried about this told us we
should be able to type root from here and get things started. I am
obviously missing something obvious--any help with what it is would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
