Since, linux and *bsd is a grassroot movement with almost no money for marketing many can benefit from the announcements of the availability of the new PD unix products. At least will cut down some of the bandwith that we have to correspond any way. About two years ago, when I wanted to run unix on a PC, there was almost no traffic on this group. A scary prospect for someone looking for an alternative to SCO's $2000 "full" development system. As for the network bandwith in comp.unix.bsd it is very, very low...
