Subject: Async NFS write possible?

The 'Subject:' says it all:

Can I change the nfs server to operate async on write calls in FreeBSD
or NetBSD?

P.S. I know why NFS default is sync, but the data in question is
allowed to be junked and the processes are watched by humans.
