I prefer counting to surveying.
It is a nice, biased method that gives you a number that does not
mean much.

Send your count (if you are a free *BSD user) to bsd-counter@uninett.no
(At the moment, approx 509 people have done so; 5155 have registered with
the Linux counter, linux-counter@uninett.no. This either shows a sharp
difference in the number of users, or shows bias on the part of the
count taker, or something else. I'm not sure what.)
