But I can't get FreeBSD to acknowledge that I've got a CDROM drive. My system is a Gateway 2000 4DX2-66V with a Mitsumi DoubleSpeed CDROM. I've got a WD Caviar 424 Meg HD (IDE), so I'm using the CDINS_AH.FLP boot image. My DOS CDROM driver looks like this: DEVICE=C:\G2KAUDIO\MTMCDAE.SYS /D:MVCD001 /M:64 /A:0 /I:11 /P:340 /T:6 /X which means that my drive is at address 340, IRQ 11, DMA 6. Am I having problems with this because of jumper settings or is my drive incompatible? -----Kris -- -=(*)=- Kristyn Fayette -=(*)=- kristyn@gnu.ai.mit.edu
