[ contents of DNS configuration files omitted ] I assume that this site is not connected to the Internet. I had a similar problem and tracked it down to not having configured DNS to correctly serve the root domain. Perhaps someone out there can explain how to correctly configure DNS to serve the root domain for isLANds. I'd sure like to know how but all of my attempts to do so caused named to loop indefinitely when looking up anything not in my local domain. I finally solved the problem by getting an Internet feed and deferring to one of the well-known root servers, but that may not be an option for you. -- Paul M.
