Swapping of the motherboards went smoothly and without incidence and MS-DOS is working just fine. Unfortunately, NetBSD-0.9 now freezes during startup right in the middle of the probe for my 1542b SCSI controller. I take out the controller and NetBSD comes up (complains about nonexistant device sd0). I also have an IDE controller with two drives one of which is the boot driver. The same setup was working well with a ISA motherboard by CHIPs. The LEI board has three VL bus slots but they are not currently being used (I plan on getting a VL bus video card for it). If anyone can help me get this work I would appreciate it. thanks, -Jim. -- *** James Tsillas jtsilla@ccs.neu.edu *** *** Work: (508)898-2800, Home: (617)924-3908 *** *** "He is after me.
