   MS-DOS is working just fine. Unfortunately, NetBSD-0.9 now freezes
   during startup right in the middle of the probe for my 1542b SCSI
   controller.

I forgot to mention that the onboard BIOS on the AHA1542B do
successfully probe the SCSI drive and seem to work. I am going to try
replacing the B with a C tonight and see if the firmware diags find
anything.
