You should also read careful, the original author does not have any 
problems with NetBSD-current, he is trying to install 0.9, which is 
not possible with the Adaptec 1542C(F) BIOS enabled and an IDE Controller
with active (BIOS) devices present. At least it is not possible 
on my computer, and it seems to be much more of a Hardware-Problem than 
fault of the faulty SCSI code (which in 0.9 has problems...), because 
with this setup, please try to install DOS 6.2, I bet it doesnt work,
5.0 does install fine...
