I didn't have any problem with the 1.831+2patch version available from ftp.qualcomm.com. Those patches are claimed to prevent client crashes leaving a pop daemon floating around with a lock on the masilbox. However while Qualcomm does sell a commercial version of the popular mac (and now PC) pop3 client Eudora, the popper is unsupported. I'm using NetBSD 0.9 and the only problem I've noticed is a core dump on an incorrect password. cheers, Danny Thomas
