It is in a file called mpu401.tar.z. (For anybody who doesn't know what the I'll have a look at this as soon as freefall comes back.. Thanks! Hannu Savolainen is currently implementing some of the same features to be included in a later release of the sound driver. I don't really know what all he is doing, but it might be a while before we see it in FreeBSD. Well, we just went to the latest and greatest version (now called The VoxKit?) in FreeBSD-current, so I'll have to see how his own MPU-401 support was coming along.. My ultimate goal/dream with the MPU support is to see a more general MIDI driver that supports the MPU-401, LAPC-1 and SCC-1 cards; I've got an SCC-1 and would very much like to start sending MIDI music to it from FreeBSD! I can imagine some very very nice looking Tk applications for playing music! :-) Jordan -- Jordan K. Hubbard FreeBSD core team Electric Bivalves Anonymous On the net, no one can hear you scream.
