Date: 9 Mar 1994 00:31:08 -0600 Organization: The University of Texas - Austin Lines: 14 Message-ID: <2ljqfc$2au@sylvester.cc.utexas.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: sylvester.cc.utexas.edu I'd like a package of tools/libraries to ease a transition into a graphical environment. X is my choice, of course, because it's the Right Thing, :) but I'd like an easy transition. Brevity is much desired, even at the expense of infinite control over every little detail. (In other words, I'm lazy.) I heard there are good toolkits out there that make X programming very easy, any suggestions? I run NetBSD and XFree86. PS: easy portability to other graphical platforms is nice, but I'm a student and can't pay for any of the commercial packages :) -- Protect our endangered bandwidth - reply by email. NO BIG SIGS!
