Are there drivers available for multi-port serial boards such as those
from Computone, Digiboard, etc.? If so, where might I find them?

You can get such things working with FreeBSD fairly easily, especially
since we updated the sio man page.

Also, are there any drivers for high-speed sync cards, capable of 56Kbps
   or better yet T1 (1.544Mbps)?

Well, I can run 115.2KBps with an absolute bog standard 16540 serial
board between my laptop and "main" machines running FreeBSD 1.1, so I
don't know if a high speed syncs card is always going to be necessary
if all you need is the _speed_. If you also need to talk sync-sync,
however, then no - I don't believe any of the fancier cards are currently
supported.
