Hmmmm..... looks like the ALTER.NET is broke again.  Perhaps it is even
incorrectly claiming authority for the machine, since I remember that it
(uiunix.ui.org) was an alias for some machine at the University of Utah
last time I went to it (sorry; can't remember the name, other than it was
in the CS department somewhere (???.cs.utah.edu).

The other alternative is that their (apparent) Telebit-based SLIP link is
only up during certain hours.

Call up their Administrative, Technical, or Zone contact from the whois
database and ask them.
