I've been able to do what I'm talking about with NEXTSTEP for Intel, which is compatible with BSD 4.3, so I figured NetBSD would be a good way to go because I have some familiarity with BSD in general (and because *BSD stuff looks like a lot of fun). I'm using the NEXTSTEP box for something else. So here's my questions: * Is the source-code necessary? I understand that it is considered an advantage to have it, but on the other hand, it takes up a lot of space. Will it be needed regularly? * Is there a way to automate the SLIP connection (my machine would be a client). * Will NetBSD run okay with a VESA local bus VGA/SVGA card? Are any special drivers necessary? Thanks in advance for your comments, Zach
