Message-ID: <1992Jul31.114916.22038@bradford.ac.uk> Date: 31 Jul 92 11:49:16 GMT Organization: University of Bradford, UK Lines: 16 Originator: 90908106@muser Nntp-Posting-Host: muser Has anyone managed to get the lpt.c (parallel printer driver) supplied in the 0.1 kernel sources to work? I've managed to get it to compile :-) but it won't even find my lpt1: port at 0x378. BTW several modifications to source and to kernel configuration files are required even to get that far!! I'll keep working at it, but if someone else has done it, it'll save me duplicating effort. Another point: what is the method used to create the diff-like patches that are posted to this group - and what is the way to apply them to the files automatically, rather than typing them in by hand :-( ? -- Thomas Sandford | t.d.g.sandford@bradford.ac.uk
