I thought it should be possible to set up NetBSD (FreeBSD) with 4 Modems on a multiserial board to do the terminal server for our network and work as a slip gateway with access control and accounting. We want to be as open as possible but also want to know who is doing what and when. If possible we would like to open for each user individually POP3 , FTP, Telnet or Internet access with slip. I know that it is possible to install slip with ???BSD. But how to set up the control? If there is a software package please let me know, can be commercial if reasonably priced. The client Computers would be only Mac and PC. Thanks in advance Juergen Baier CIM Project Switzerland baier@dns1.cim.ch
