FreeBSD Hi, In my last post I asked for the way to FreeBSD-1.1-BETA to see the 3C509 card, and Hinrich Eilts sent me the image of the kernel with the 'ep0' driver that now is able to find the card (I/O=300H, INT=10), but my problem now is that I am not able to make the mount to see the NFS file system. I have made the command: # ifconfig ep0 inet 138.96.24.97 netmask 255.255.255.0 up (I put it in the /etc/netstart file) it seems to do fine, but the PC is not able to send and when I try to do the mounting, I get the messages: NFS Portmap: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to send And if I do ping I get: [pax-136-~:>ping 138.96.24.97 no answer from 138.96.24.97 Perhaps there is some file I have not created (I am a Unix beginner). All suggestions welcome, thanks in advance. ------- Andres VEGA GARCIA INRIA Projet RODEO 2004, Route des Lucioles B.P. 93 06902 Sophia Antipolis Cedex, France avega@pax.inria.fr (+33)93.65.79.20 Fax:(+33)93.65.77.65|66
