Make one of your four hardwired partitions an extended one and you can sub-partition it into multiple partitions. I have my Linux /usr and /home on sub-partitions of an extended partition and things work out marvelously. Meanwhile / is on a small standard partition. And you can do all of this with Linux's fdisk.
