SOSS is a freeware NFS server implementation. I haven't tried the NT version but have got the DOS version to nfs mount dos directories on my FreeBSD machine. It works but is very slow and only does (dos version) rsize=wsize=1024. I would hope that the NT version would perform better but do not know. Steve : thus, i'm wondering if there is some sort of software for UN*X : that is freely available that will let me use lanman shares : from these machines. : : anybody aware of such a beast? : : : : thanks. : : : mar c'em : : -- : ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- : Marc Wandschneider Seattle, WA : Barney the Dinosaur sings!
