Message-ID: <1992Jul30.194825.13902@data-io.com> Date: 30 Jul 92 19:48:25 GMT Sender: bachesta@maunakea (Jim Bachesta) Organization: Data I/O Corporation Lines: 17 I have successfully installed 386BSD on my system. Thanks to all those involved in bringing 386BSD to the world. Unfortunately I'm having a problem when I try to build a new kernel. I can do a "make depend" ok. Everything completes as exptected. When I try to do a "make" the system hangs while compiling kern_clock.c. I have also seen the problem intermittently when I do a "df." I estimate about 20% of the time with "df" the system will hang. I have a 20Mhz System with 10 megs of Memory, a Micropolis 1355 ESDI Disk and a Western Digital controller. Does anyone out there know of a fix for this? Has anyone else seen this problem? -- Jim Bachesta Unix System Administrator Data I/O Corporation bachesta@Data-IO.COM
