Hi netters,

To be frank, the response has been underwhelming. :-) From the
amount of bug reports I have gotten, one would think the only bugs that
exist are in the boot code. I have some, "My machine won't boot", and a
hardware description, but I think I have only gotten < 10 responses to
my call for bugs.
Thanks to those of you who have sent reports in! A couple of the
bug reports were excellent. Also, thanks to those of you who have sent
in comments and suggestions, they are appreciated. I would like even more
of the "My machie won't boot" reports, but can people mention in the
report if they have tried the new bootables that are on agate.

So, if you would/could, please people, send in what you got.
ABUSE my time. I just put off a job until school so I could organize
this. So far I have about 20 bugs (about a dozen of them are little ones
I have found), and a couple I got of Terry Lambert's FAQ, and a couple
more data points on boot problems.

I may be asking for it, but even if it's a bug like:

	chmod +t filename doesn't work, I don't have a fix.

Send it in. It's better to have someone know that, because the fix is
probably easy, but no-one will fix it unless they know about it.

Sorry I can't set up an alias (yet) to have bugs sent to. The machine I
am currently on is a loaner, but when a friend gets back from vacation I
will see if I can set up a mail alias on his machine to collect bug
reports.

Now that I got that off my chest, make me eat my words. :-)

Nate

ps. I've sent mail to Chris and the Jolitz, and I *hope* to get a
report from them so I can follow their format when writing up
the list to make bug reporting easier.
