Yes,

BSDI and NetBSD use pretty much the same driver for the SB only.

The linux sound driver has been ported to FreeBSD and SCO and
it supports. SB, SB16, PAS16, and the Gravis Ultrasound(GUS)

Me, I  use FreeBSD and I have two GUS cards playing locally or
over the net using netaudio or radio
