(Bus Error) Date: 2 Apr 1994 04:43:08 -0600 Organization: The University of Texas - Austin Lines: 13 Message-ID: <2nji7s$4no@sylvester.cc.utexas.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: sylvester.cc.utexas.edu The adventure-type games rarely save properly. Either hack or rogue gets a ``Bus Error'' shortly after getting a lock. Larn's scoreboard doesn't work. At first, a few of these problems were due to permissions in /var/games or whatever. However, I've since changed them to bin/kmem, which is what ``dm'' is SGID/SUID to. Are these games actually buggy, or am I missing, say, a directory I need to mkdir manually? -- Protect our endangered bandwidth - reply by email. NO BIG SIGS!
