I run a Micropolis 1.5 gig drive for my news spool on a Netbsd 0.8 box
I recently upgraded from a 300 Mb drive, and I've had nothing but trouble
with it since.
I have two other (SCSI) drives on the same machine which give me no trouble.
The drive in question is a Micropolis 1528-15.
MICROP_1528_15|MCP_1528-15| SCSI FreeBSD installation generated:\

I generated this on a FreeBSD box because NetBSD 0.8 would not
disklabel the drive.
Because this is a news spool, I newfs'ed partition `e' with:
newfs -m 5 -i 3072
( -m5 = 5% free space -i 3072 = 3072 bytes / inode )
Standard 8K block sizes were used.
During the /etc/daily run where an fsck is done on each drive, I get the
following messages
------------------------------------------------------------------------
** /dev/rsd2e (NO WRITE)
** Last Mounted on /v
CANNOT READ: BLK 318896

I have ahd this problem on the same drive before and thought a low level
format would fix it. It didn't.
If anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be, please, please help
Terry
