I have an IBM8515 SVGA COLOR monitor and driving it with an
Orchid Prodesigner II SVGA video card. I have BIG problems with both xdm
and X not being able to "open the display"... I have tried all kinds of
clocks settings, from ones listed in the database to one found via
-probeonly command. None have worked.. I figured possible since this
card/monitor combo is sort of mismatched (i.e I have a special kludge in
DOS to make the two produce color) that some sort of patch or fix might
be needed for this video setup. has ANYONE else experienced the problems
I have described? If so is there a solution?? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks
