You can say that again!

I'm running an Accton NE2000 board in my systems at home right now. I
have a BSD PC and a DOS PC hooked together. While I know this isn't
blazing speed, I can ftp to the BSD box from the DOS box and get a
sustained transfer of 80KB/sec. I've seen some 3com 3c509s using FTP
software's PC/TCP getting 100KB/sec going to an HP9000/750.

All in all, my experience with at least the Accton NE2000 card has been
positive.
