Keywords: fidonet mail news netmail echomail gateway Sender: mdw@cs.cornell.edu (Matt Welsh) Reply-To: crosser@pccross.msk.su (Eugene Crosser) Organization: == Eugene Crosser's == Date: Tue, 5 Apr 1994 00:17:05 GMT Approved: linux-announce@tc.cornell.edu (Matt Welsh) Lines: 22 Ifmail is a set of FidoNet(tm) compatible transport and gateway programs, running on mutiple U*IX platforms (Linux, FreeBSD, SCO, SVR4, SunOS). In cooperation with typical U*IX e-mail and netnews packages, it allows to make a FidoNet node (or point) on a machine running U*IX. The package is in BETA, use it on your own risk. Release 2.2 contains mainly semi-cosmetic changes against release 2.1: cleaner handshaking, cleaner AKA and domain matching, minor bug fixes etc. If you are happy with the previous version, you may not bother switching to this one. ifmail22.tar.z (171850 bytes) should be soon available at: tsx-11.mit.edu: /pub/linux/sources/usr.bin sunsite.unc.edu: /pub/Linux/system/Mail People from xSU may find convenient to get the file from: ftp.demos.su: /unix/linux/sources/fido Eugene -- Eugene Crosser <crosser@pccross.msk.su>; 2:5020/230@fidonet; +7 095 212 5274
