I just noticed the "fdisk -i" option in FreeBSD.  I wonder if this
option is sufficient to reformat an IDE hard drive without the
commercial MessyDos utility I mentioned in an earlier note.  Now if I
can just figure out how to get FreeBSD to my friends without Dos.  I
suppose sneakernet is the order of the day.  -David-
