That's so true....what we have here is a case where three separate groups of people have each done a major service to the free-unix community as a whole. The only result is that "competition" produces a stronger desire to put out a better product--which I think is a very good thing. But I'd rather view the situation as "three success stories" than concentrate on the competitive aspects. Thanks again very much to all concerned! lilo
