News Server Lines: 17 Message-ID: <2o50mn$5p9@MICRO-HEART-OF-GOLD.MIT.EDU> NNTP-Posting-Host: micro-heart-of-gold.mit.edu I'm running FreeBSD 1.0.2 on my home single board computer, which has an OAK video chip to provide me with SVGA video on board. When I was previously running FreeBSD 1.0-E, I had no problem running w/X11 and using the XF86_SVGA server. However, with the SAME XFree distribution loaded onto my 1.0.2 system, (I loaded it up a few weeks back), I notice that the server can no longer probe my OAK hardware for some reason... I have made no changes to the hardware at all, only the O/S.. And then only from 1.0-E to 1.0.2... This happens on the other few 1.0.2 upgraded systems I have around the office of the same type... Did anyone notice anything change in 1.0.2 that might account for this?? Thanks! - Shawn
