I have a serial port that gets recognized as an 16450 with no fifo. Hooking an external modem to it refuses to work. I can see on the modem that something raised DTR, but the device open never occurs properly. If I reboot into DOS however, the modem and serial port work fine, so I know it isn't a setup or cable problem. I've tried using tip and kermit to access it, and neither can get it opened correctly. Any suggestions, or pointers to other com drivers would be appreciated. Thanks James
