Umm, how did you "build" the -current? You can't just "make world",
you need to install the new config first, and to do that, you need the
new .mk first, or some such. There is a script called FreeBSD-1.0.2-*
that Jordan ("the rational one") wrote on freefall, please try it.

This is because FreeBSD has undergone several major changes since
1.0.2. Once you get up to -current, things should be much easier.

 * Yeah, just say it now, I can already hear it: "You should subscribe
 * to the FreeBSD-current mailinglist..."
 * The answer is: I *have* done that. April the third, but I haven't
 * gotten a single mail in my mailbox yet. Sigh.

Strange, I am getting at least several messages per day. Also, you
might want to subscribe to the -hackers mailing list too. Right now
-current is in a startup stage and many people still send messages to
-hackers.

 * Thanks god I have a T1 connection so I can get mailarchive files
 * in no time.
 * Btw, I'm thinking of connecting a Pentium based machine to the net,
 * and if I get enough requests, I'll make it publicly available...

Cool.
