My BusLogic bt742a/747s/etc. Technical Reference Manual has pages of
details on Target Mode operation. I don't know what BusLogic's
*official* stance on Target Mode is, but the Tech. Ref. Manual spends
just as much time talking about Initiator Mode as Target Mode. In
addition, my bt747s Installation Guide says in its Product Overview
section (discussing mailbox design):

... This same mailbox protocol supports both initiator and
target mode operation permitting high speed host-to-host
	communication and scatter-gather data transfers.

I'd say, judging by the evidence, BusLogic has complete support for
Target Mode operation. Other BusLogic boards use an almost identical
firmware interface, leading me to believe all BusLogic products
potentially support Target Mode.
