I have a Trident tvga 9000 video card w/ 512k, and I am running the
XF86_Mono server. I am trying to get it to use a virtual screen of size
1600x1200 (which the Mono server man page says is possible) but I cannot
seem to get a virtual screen larger than 1152x900. If I try a larger
screen and startx, the screen flickers, then drops back to text mode.
anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you attention.
