Date: Mon, 11 Apr 1994 14:34:23 GMT Lines: 19 I am comparing architectures among 486, 386, and 286. Does anyone know if 286 processors use the translation lookaside buffer (TLB)? What kind of write policy does a typical 286 processor apply? Pardon me for an ancient subject but I have not worked on Intel processors too much. --- Chiyoko Koike Miklasevich __o o -\<, (|' ~~>--^o' __ (*)/(*) __ `/| __ Cincinnati Bell Information Systems TEL (407) 661-5409 FAX (407) 660-0085 e-mail: chiyoko.miklasevich@cbis.com
