Date: Mon, 11 Apr 1994 14:46:04 GMT Lines: 22 I am comparing architecures among 486, 386, and 286. Does anyone tell me if the 286 processors use translation lookaside buffers (TLBs)? What kind of write policy does a 286 processor enforce? Pardon me for ancient 286 questions but I have not worked on Intel processors before. --- Chiyoko Koike Miklasevich __o o -\<, (|' ~~>--^o' __ (*)/(*) __ `/| __ Cincinnati Bell Information Systems TEL (407) 661-5409 FAX (407) 660-0085 e-mail: chiyoko.miklasevich@cbis.com
