Sender: usenet@trivia.coginst.uwf.edu (usenet news adm) Message-ID: <Co7sFF.7KE@trivia.coginst.uwf.edu> Date: Wed, 13 Apr 1994 20:18:50 GMT Organization: University of West Florida Lines: 19 Yes, I realize that this is somewhat inappropriate for this newsgroup, but the "C" newsgroup is huge, the postings are usually dealing with C problems and solutions, and I get a better turn around from here. In any event, I am running Solaris 2.3 on a Sparc and, as you may know, Solaris does not come bundelled with a C compiler. I still find that VERY hard to believe...Unix without C?!?!? Anyway, I digress. I remember reading of a Gnu "gcc" compiler that someone with the C compiler on Solaris had created that included the first-pass kernel, thus making it possible for those of us without C to compile GCC. I need to know where I can find it. Please email responses, as I need to know as soon as possible. Thanks, Darrell
