hi,

I've just upgrated to FreeBSD-1.1-GAMMA...
Very nice...
But I have a problem with my 4-port-serial card (AST-compatible):
I recompiled the kernel with multi-port and bi-directonal option enabled
and everthing seemed to work (the boot-up check detects the 4 ports),
I'm also able to connect to my modem, but something goes wrong with the
transmission; namely every character gets delayed bye one keystroke ?!
(nothing wrong with the modem setting, my vt220 gets confused as well and
everything worked with 1.0.2)

.. any idea what's wrong ?
suggestions (particularly how to fix it) are appreciated ...

so long,
           frank
