There are many of us who have been waiting for FreeBSD-1.1-RELEASE, but can the core team give us a new time frame now? I can not give you a hard-and-fast timeline due to the simple fact that we haven't quite seemed to have reached a concensus (internally) on that yet. That is why I have not posted any more `official' announcement up to now. I can say that FreeBSD 1.1 GAMMA is being done this weekend and, unless something unforseen happens, should be seeing the light of day on Monday morning. This would be our 1.1 RELEASE candiadate, and initial _unsolidified_ plans are for this to spend a week in testing before pushing it out the door as 1.1 RELEASE. Jordan -- Jordan K.
