I'm finally getting around to setting up my FreeBSD 1.0 system so I can
access it from my primary machine over the ethernet cards. I've got the cards
set up and tested from DOS (the tiny DOS partition I installed on the FreeBSD
machine) and they're working fine.
However, I am apparently not up to the task of editing all the files to get
Hell (FreeBSD) and CircleOne (the other machine) set up correctly. Is there an
tutorial of sorts on a basic setup? The 386bsd faqs are not very helpful and
the freebsd faq I grabbed a while back doesn't talk about anything but SLIP and
PPP as far as networking. My Nutshell book on System Adminstration isn't a big
help either - too cursory a treatment.
I'm sure this has been asked about 1,000,000 times, so if someone'll just
point me in the right direction, I'll get out of everybody's hair....
